Why are your games showing 'Out of Stock'?

YNC Games uses Kickstarter to launch games - until games are launched and successfully funded on Kickstarter, the game will remain 'Out of Stock' on our website.

Why do require your games to fund on Kickstarter before launching in your online shop?

We want to give priority to our customers who help us successfully launch our game - through Kickstarter, our first customers can get 'Kickstarter exclusives' and regular updates to the games they are backing.

What is Kickstarter and how does it work?

For full Kickstarter T&Cs, please visit www.Kickstarter.com.

In summary, Kickstarter is a crowdfunding website, which allows YNC Games to use an 'all or nothing' funding model. We believe this provides the best option for our customers and YNC Games alike. If you pledge for a game of ours through Kickstarter and we successfully reach a funding target, your pledge will be charged to you at that point, and our game will go to manufacture. If we do not successfully reach our funding target, YNC Games will refund the money that was taken through your pledge.

How can I help YNC Games get funded?

Thank you for taking the time to look at our website and your interest in our games! Please sign-up using the links on the homepage and also follow us on our social media platforms with the handle @ync.games on Instagram, Facebook and more. The direct links are in the footer on the bottom of this page. The more you share the platforms with your friends and other gamers, and the more interest we have in our games, the more likely we are to get funded. At the moment, we will not release a game on Kickstarter until we have at least 500 subscribers and followers through our various platforms.

If you do not manage to reach a funding target on Kickstarter, what does this mean for the release of the game?

This is the key reason we will not launch a game until there are at least 500 people interested - we do not want to ask people to pledge until we think we have a good chance of getting fully funded. If we are unsuccessful in reaching our funding target, this means that it would not be cost effective for us to produce the game at this point, and any pledges will be returned. We really believe in our games, so should this be the case, we will work hard to gain more support for our games and relaunch the game at a later date if there is interest.

Is there another way I can play the games?

We really appreciate your interest in our games. There are in fact a few other ways you can still play our games! We need a variety of playtesters through the game development phases - your feedback will be key to how we upgrade the game before release! Please get in touch with us through the 'Contact Us' page if you are interested.

We also need a variety of games reviewers - if you are a reviewer and are interested in reviewing one of our games ahead of release, please also get in touch with us through the 'Contact Us' page.
